The New Ofsted Framework and Send Post Pandemic Seminar

Following a year of disruption due to the Pandemic, Ofsted will be resuming their full programme of graded school inspections in autumn 2021. The teaching of children with special educational needs in mainstream schools is an integral part of the new framework. The SENCO will have a key role in the inspection process especially if SEND is selected for greater scrutiny through the “deep dive” process.
Keeping Children Safe in Education – Peer on Peer Abuse Training

The latest Keeping Children Safe in Education statutory safeguarding guidance (September 2021) incorporates the new sections on child on child sexual violence and sexual harassment. This session with consider the updated guidance and how schools should be responding to any concerns or allegations. Like all safeguarding issues this is everyone’s responsibility, particularly headteachers, DSLs and senior leaders.
